after reading [this][1] and [this][2] and far too many sites that looked just the same my brain feels like it’s melting.

<p>someone posting his [linux installation][3] into his blog might be a little crazy but what about guys like me <em>reading this</em>?  </p>

ok. obviously it was rather late yesterday. basically what i was trying to say was this:

<p>after killing my SUSE system last week i had the brilliant idea to try a debian based knoppix 3.8. now i&#8217;m facing a completely new prospect of <em>challenges</em> including the skype-does-not-play-sounds-problem among others, of course.</p>
